I picked up this cool green quilted maple top, maple fretboard, PBC headless 6-string bass from the Cooperburg, PA factory from Dave Bunker himself in 1998. I tried to get into 6-string for a few years, but never really warmed up to it.

Bass is like new, barely played. In storage in the case for over 15 years.

Not looking for any kind of trades. Will ship to CONUS from San Francisco.

I uploaded a couple of more pictures to the original post. The backplate and finish has some very minor scratches I tried to capture. The bass itself weighs about 10 pounds. For the "tension free" neck, there are two adjustable rods in the neck that are anchored further down in the body.

It currently has double ball strings. I used to order custom sets from Ken Smith's factory back then. There is an extra new set in the case now from 15 years ago. I believe Dave used to have a screw-set adapter for standard strings, but I do not have that.
