For sale Suhr Classic J Pro

2015 Suhr Classic J Pro bass. Suhr is known mostly for guitars, but their vintage-style Jazz bass is comparable to Mike Lull, Sadowsky, and other boutique builders. (Do some searches on this site!) Nice aggressive sound that really nails the 60s vintage vibe.

Looks, plays, and sounds great. Comes with the original G&G hard case.

I got this because I thought I wanted another single-coil vintage-style jazz bass. But it turns out I don't want that. I've had -- and sold 3 now: 1 Fender MIA and 2 Mike Lull V4s. This plays and sounds is as any of those, but I prefer a modern Jazz or PJ instead of single-coil.

Very good condition. Some light pick scratches on the pickguard, and the top end of the headstock looks a little grayish to me, like it needs to be cleaned. Also, one volume knob has its indicator out of sync with the other. Otherwise it is perfect, or close to it. [Edit: This weekend I will try cleaning the headstock and adjusting that knob with an allen wrench so I can remove those caveats from the listing.]

Bathroom scale shows it as being between 8.5 and 8.6 lbs.

My J needs are met with my Lull PJ4, but will consider trades for a nice lightweight Precision with a 1.5" jazz neck.
