Recent winter home repairs have led me to having to sell my 2007 Modulus Q5. This past year I spent $662.92(see attached bill) on a heat straightening and refret from Peekamoose Guitars in NYC. They specialize is graphite neck repairs. Neck is straight with new frets and feels like a new bass. In really great condition, I tried to capture whatever blemishes I could find. All and all for a 12 year old bass, its really quite nice.

9.2 lbs on digital bathroom scale.

But that's not how truss Rod works on a modulus Bass. It doesn't move the neck

A Modulus Truss rod will either increase or decrease neck relief ...being they are dual truss rods. Otherwise why have them....in fact the earlier ones did not have them....some(not all) developed problems over time...whether due to a change in materials , weather or lack of care ...thats been a debate here on Talkbass. I have owned over 6 Modulus basses...most with truss roods and they all had the ability adjust the relief on the carbon graphite necks.
