Birdseye Maple
Excellent Condition

Very clean! Other then some lights clear coat swirls and a very tiny dent the bass body is in remarkable condition. Lightly used, stock, and just incredibly beautiful. Plays nicely with low action .070mm at 24th fret. TRods and Electronics work properly. Serial #989

This is a all original handcrafted 30 year old work of art and technology in amazing condition...for less than the cost of a nice 45 year old Fender Jazz Bass. :)

Only downsides I know of:
It didn’t come with a case
Pup selector pot is a little scratchy.
Some scratches on control cavity plate.

Shipping via USPS from the Aloha State to other USA locations is about $85 boxed with insurance. If you want me to find a hard case at cost...shipping would be about $125 depending on dimensions and weight.

Bass is for sale elsewhere so may be subject to prior sale.

Yep it’s pretty nice! I heard back from MT and he said it’s a signature sold in 1989 to a local guitar shop. It doesn’t look at all like a 30 year old bass that lived its whole life in Hawaii. The previous owner must have been an incredibly caring and disciplined person.

Sorry I’ve also decided to keep my Tobias too.
Recently got it and hadn’t played it much as I’ve been busy on drum gigs. Since I didn’t connect with it...I decided that I couldn’t justify such a nice bass. Long story short... I plugged it in and recorded a little and it was like the bass took over and played itself! So fun!!!! With no knob twisting (other than volume) already the best sounding bass I have by a long shot!! Will be selling a bunch of my other stuff. :) I get it now.
