Oddly enough, the bass that I took these out of had a JRetro deluxe in it that I posted for sale at the same time as these pickups.

If you like the JRetro with the stock pickups, you will more than likely love what these add to the mix. VS the stock pickups that came in my American Deluxe, I would say that these have a more vintage feel to them that pairs nicely with the JRetro.
