This Emperor 5 Custom Deluxe features and Ash body and Birdseye Maple fingerboard, giving it a bright, punchy tone with a powerful low end, precise mids, and percussive, articulate highs. EMG 40PJ pickups give this build a distinctly "modern" vibe as well. This bass was also built with a gorgeous Buckeye Burl top, as well as a Kahler tremolo bridge!
I purchased this bass a short time ago and while this is for all intents and practical purposes, my dream bass, the neck has a thicker front to back profile than what I like. I have arthritis in my hands so if I keep the bass, it unfortunately won’t see much playing time. That being said, I’ve decided to gauge interest in selling the bass and let it go.
Would prefer an outright sale. However, I will consider partial trades for Spector 4-String's such as USA NS-4's or USA NS-2's. Would prefer trades that are DW models with Birdseye Maple or Ebony fretboards.
