Interested. Do you know if the 4/4 size is just the string length or generally how well they would play on a 3/4 bass?
 
Hi Almal,

The consensus, especially here at TB, is the 4/4 size are used for 3/4 size basses given a little less tension. I personally prefer the 4/4 strings for standard 40-42 inch scale length on basses. If your bass needs more tension then I would guess 3/4 set would be better.
