Here is a fine slope shouldered bass that looks like one I saw in the museum in Mirecourt last year. It looks French to me. I had a friend say he thought it looked like Alfred Mayer. It has an old neck repair in the middle of the neck. A few well repaired top cracks. Lovely amber varnish. It is a flat back with a 41.25" scale. lower bout is 26.25" upper is 18".I live in the Kansas City area.
