Sadowsky Metro Will Lee 5 in Dark Lake Placid Blue.

Excellent condition and best Metro I have played.

Specs:
  • Sleek undersized 22 fret body shape
  • Solid swamp ash body
  • Thicker headstock and graphite strips dramatically reduce dead spots and create a more even response on every note
  • Maple fingerboard
  • 1 ¾″nut width on 5-string
  • 22 18% nickel/silver frets .094″ wide x .051″ high, maximum hardness
  • Licensed Hipshot Ultralight on 5 string
  • Sadowsky Single Coil J pickups (60’s locations)
  • Custom Will Lee preamp with on/off mid-boost; choice of 500Hz or 800Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth
  • Controls: master vol, pickup blend, treble roll-off (VTC) with pre-amp bypass, bass boost, treble boost, mid-boost switch
  • Rear trimpots for adjusting mid boost gain and overall preamp gain; frequency switch
  • Sadowsky bridge with quick release
  • 19mm 5 string bridge spacing

Gas pains.... Played my buddies Will Lee 5 metro 5 on a gig the other day and was blown away by the tone and neck feel.

The neck on the Will Lee 5 I test drove felt much better in my hands than the standard Metro 5. Not as chunky and very manageable coming from a Roscoe with 18mm spacing. GLWTS

I have this same experience. The nut is smaller on the WL models, so that might be part of it.
