This 1977 Fender Precision Bass is in fantastic shape and plays like an absolute dream. The original Olympic White finish has aged to that cream color which is the reason everyone loves vintage Olympic White. It has some checking and wear throughout, as would be expected with a vintage instrument, but nothing glaring. The rosewood fingerboard is clean and straight, and the frets still have plenty of life. The maple neck and headstock likewise have little wear and have aged nicely to a saturated patina. Other than the replaced pickguard and one strap button, this bass is entirely original, including the warm, yet growly pickup, nicely aged hardware that functions perfectly, and the case that has plenty of wear and a replaced buckle, but is perfectly functional and clean on the inside. I purchased this bass from Chicago Music Exchange only a few months ago, but I have to let it go due to a cross country move. I've included in the case the guarantee card from CME stating that this bass is ready to be played! As seen in the picture, the black pickguard that came on the bass when I got it will be included.
