For sale REDUCED: 2017 Lakland J-Sonic 5

For sale is a circa-2017 Lakland Skyline J-Sonic 5 in Aztec Gold. This bass has two awesome Chi-Sonic single coil pickups, passive electronics with volume/volume/tone, producing a variety of HUUUUUUGE punchy tones. I bought this bass because I loved the Chi-Sonics on my Lakland Decade but needed a five-string bass. I loved the pickups and the neck of this bass so much that I commissioned a custom five-string Decade from Lakland, and I'm passing this one along. According to Lakland, this bass features the same body style and 35″ scale neck of the high-end 55-60. The neck is flat-sawn maple with graphite reinforcement bars and Indian Laurel fingerboard. The nut width is 1.81".

Weight on my kitchen scale is 10 pounds 8 ounces, which is not bad for a 5er. It plays and sounds great. I bought this bass new in 2017, and it is pristine, I can't find a single mark on it. I've never called a bass 10/10 but this one is it.
