Hey everyone. This listing is for my Modulus Quantum 6 Sweet Spot. This one features an alder body with a flame and spalt maple top finished in transparent blue. It has the custom for Modulus Bart pickup and electronics package, 35 inch scale and 17mm spacing.
This bass is in exceptional condition, especially considering the age. In the right light, close up, and at the right angles, you can see that the clear coat has fine scratches all over the body. If one were to buff or polish these scratches out, I think this bass could pass for New Old Stock. It is very fresh, with no damage or wear to speak of. The neck is about perfect as far as I can tell, the hardware is very clean, the electronics work properly, etc. It is just a stellar example of a truly iconic bass. The tone and playability are outstanding.
I have owned several Quantums in all the various configurations, with and without truss rods, sweet spots, turbos, standards, wood boards, and so on. I can say that they all deliver what you expect from a bass like this. If you value simplicity, a sweet spot with no truss rod is nearly a perfect instrument.
