Edit: Now $2999. It seems a little bit of sanity may have returned the the market, so I better adjust to it. However, this is my final drop.
1997 Modulus FB4 Flea Bass. It has ALL of the most desirable features including the massively sought after blue flake finish, Original Modulus branded Lane Poor pickup and bad ass 2 bridge.
This is the rarest of the rare Modulus Flea's from the first 1996-1997 serial number runs (they were all considerd 97's as the first ones used 96 serialed sonic hammer left-over necks). The Flea "teeth" logo is present as well on the headstock which was a feature of the "first run" basses as is the chrome neck plate. The bridge is the original Badass 2 and it also has the original Bartolini NTBT preamp. The original foam to hold the battery has disintegrated and has been discarded.
This is in great players condition. The frets LOOK like they could use a dressing but the action is still set super low without buzzing. There are some chips, checks and dings in the finish of the body as to be consistent with age and use. NO breaks, cracks or repairs to the wood or carbon fiber neck! The neck is very clean, only one small chip on the headstock. Neck is super straight, it plays fantastic. Buyers are welcome to view in person prior to purchase or pick up in person upon completed sale.
Will ship worldwide, provided the buyer covers all costs.
