I hate to do this, as this bass has kind of been my baby and is my forum identity as well, but I'm so rarely needing a 5-string these days. Also my house flooded (and insurance won't cover it) and I need a new garage.
Here are the specs:
- 34" scale
- Alder body
- Spalted maple top, wenge veneer
- Set in maple neck with carbon fiber rods, 14" radius, 45 mm nut
- ETS headless hardware, 19 mm bridge spacing
- Delano PC5 AL/M2 split coil, Delano MC 5 AL Humbucker
- Noll TCM 4 XM preamp with switch for series/sc/parallel.
- Natural finish, matte neck finish
- Dunlop strap locks.
The bass has the smoothest and easiest neck I've played to date, and tonally can do a lot. Balances great, easy to set up, and easy to travel with!
New it'd run you about $2300, shipping and a 4 month wait. Only reason I'm selling is because I got my new 4-string from Maruszczyk and really dig it, and that bass will definitely see more play. It makes me sad to see this guy sit on my wall unplayed! Feel free to PM me with questions. Cheers!
