Details

This is a near mint 2010 Status Streamline 4, 34" scale, totally clean except for a couple of small scratches on the back that wouldn't show up for the camera. It is a one-piece carbon fiber instrument. Set up at Long & McQuade just recently with new D'Addario double ball strings. Sounds and feels amazing!

Fellow hobble-backed GEN Xers: this Streamline is the lightest bass I've ever owned (6.2 pounds). I have nearly banged it on both sides of a door frame by forgetting I'm wearing it. Like others have said, this thing practically plays itself. SO comfortable and light, but with a HUGE sound.

18v active circuit with bass and treble controls. No screwdrivers required for battery changes ... always a plus in my book! Never goes out of tune.

Comes with fitted gig bag; bag had a tear on the bottom but has been mended.

Only 1500 USD + shipping. A new one with the fret dots would cost close to 2300. This price can't go any lower!

This is a near mint Status Streamline 4, 34" scale, totally clean except for a couple of small scratches on the back that wouldn't show up for the camera. Light as a feather (6.2 pounds), plays beautifully, and offers lots of tonal options.

I am selling this bass because I love it. What I mean is, I am so blown away by the ergonomics, tones, and playability that I just had to pull the trigger on a Steinberger L2 to experience the original graphite headless for myself. Now there is a big hole in my credit card that I hoped to fill by selling other basses, but so far no luck. Reluctantly, then, and in the name of fiscal responsibility, I am putting this up for sale, secure in the knowledge that I can one day buy another if the Steinie isn't for me.

The gig bag is functional but has seen better days. Asking 1800 USD + actual shipping. I'm only looking to get what I paid for it, not a penny more, and that doesn't include the customs charges I coughed up to import it to Canada.

This bass is totally out of sight ... AND out of CITES (no rosewood).

Thanks for reading!
Seems fair but out of my price range. Thanks for your post.

Wow what a cool bass. I had an S2 Five, and a Retroglide 4 in Woven Chrome. Sad I sold them. I picked up an old Steinberger L2 to replace S/N 808 that was stolen years ago. I wonder how the Streamline compares? Awesome bass. GLWTS.
