A particularly nice example of an original classic. Not a reissue.
I bought this a few years ago from a gentleman who said he inherited it from his uncle, the original owner, who bought it in Great Britain. I have no way of confirming this, but the guy did have a British accent.
Regardless, this is an early model in terrific condition. The photos tell the story. As far as I can tell everything is original. All controls work as designed and are quiet.
It comes with a beat up but functional case, which I guess is the original case as it fits so well.
I have a soft spot for Duran Duran and John Taylor. It took me years to find this bass and I thought I'd never part with it. But, I'm leaving the country and am bringing only two basses with me, and this fine instrument didn't quite make the cut.
The price includes shipping via FedEx Ground in the continental U.S. I'm not inclined to ship internationally unless you make it extremely simple for me.
