EDIT: Sold.

Up for sale is my 2011 60th Anniversary Precision in the rare Sunburst (125 made). This is in great shape, but please understand that I had the vintage tint put on the neck/fretboard aftermarket. It IS the original neck, but with the vintage tint added. ($100.00 upgrade.) I think it looks great because it matches the light color in the Sunburst. It also gives it a true vintage look. But if you prefer the stark light-colored maple, you won't like this one.

No dings, gouges, etc., but there is normal wear on the pickguard. Saddles have been replaced with The KTS Titanium PR-03 Vintage style saddles. Those saddles are about a $90.00 upgrade. (Original saddles are included also.) There is also a set of Shaller strap buttons included. The guy I got it from had swapped out the original pickups for a set of Seymour Duncan SPB-1's. I do NOT have the original pickups; but the SPB-1's are my favorite P-Bass pickup. I have them on 3 of my P-Basses, and IMO, they are fantastic. I owned one of these 60th Anniversary P's in the Blonde, and IMO, this one sounds better than the one with the original pickups. Weight is 8 lbs., 13 oz..

I also had a 4-ply White/Black/White/Black pickguard made by Tony at Pickguardian. A $70.00+ upgrade, but the original single-ply black pickguard is included. IMO, the W/B/W/B looks much better, but personal preferences and all. From a distance, I always felt the single-ply black blended into the black in the burst, and made the body look small. The white accent helps eliminate that illusion.

The original case is like new. I always use a Contego Pro gig bag, so the case has just sat in my closet since I've had it. Truss rod adjustment tool is included.

No trades. Trying to make some room. I'm getting old, and have too many basses. Currently strung with brand new Ernie Ball Slinky Flatwounds.

I do not have/use PayPal, so I would like payment to be via U.S. Postal Money Order. But feel free to check my feedback. $1,200.00 shipped in the CONUS. If you live within commuting distance of Memphis, we could meet half-way and I could adjust the price downward accordingly. Shipping costs have gotten so high over the last couple years.

Some of the below pics show the bass with the original single-ply black pickguard, but most have the newer B/W/B. Also, I included one pic with the stark white neck so you can see the difference with the vintage tint. The vintage tint blends in really well with the amber color in the body.

Considering the extras, and the relative rareness of these (125 made), I think this is a very fair price on an excellent bass.
