2015 Marleaux Diva Fretless 5-string bass
Mahogany body
Rosewood top
Satin finish
Padouk neck with 3 octave range
Rosewood fingerboard
Gold hardware, including Schaller straplocks (all hardware included)
Delano X-Tender pickup
Now mated with a wonderful set of Sadowsky Blue Label flatwounds - a match made in heaven
Custom form-fit Marleaux branded gig bag
All original paperwork, folder, COA, etc.
Weight: 8 lbs. 14 oz.
Nut width: 1.75"
Balances perfectly, and sounds absolutely delicious. Can't think of a better word than that. Sample video demo link below.
Has been gigged one time. Two tiny little dings on the back to prove it. (See pic #18)
Extremely minor string winding lines in the fingerboard - can be seen at the right angle, but cannot be felt. (See pics #14 and 15)
The build quality of this instrument is second to none, and it has fantastic mwah.
It is a real conversation starter, as it is an exquisite work of fine art on top of being a wonderful musical instrument.
I just got a Skjold Drakkar Catacomb fretless, and can't justify having multiple "holy grail" 5-string fretless basses, especially given my lack of skill. (I will be posting the Wal Mark 3 fretless soon as well.)
$4,200 plus ACTUAL shipping charges via the carrier of your choice. (FedEx or UPS preferred.)
USA buyers only due to rosewood content.
Sorry, no trades.
