I've decided to sell my all original 1967 Fender Precision bass. I'm only selling this because I'm trying to raise funds for a home. This is a really nice bass that I acquired here on Talkbass just over 2 years ago and it has served me very well. It plays great, the truss rod adjusts normally and it plays well with relatively low action. I currently have it strung with medium gauge chromes. I've used it sparingly over the past couple years and haven't taken it out to a lot of gigs, so the condition is relatively the same as when I bought it. I love how the back of the neck on this bass is smooth and worn in very nicely.
The loop markings on the back were apparently the result of someone leaving the bass in its case on top of one of the spiral cables.
Includes the original case, pickup and bridge covers with screws.
Here is the link to the original listing which you can refer to for additional pictures of the bass.
SOLD - 1967 Fender Precision All Original
US Shipping only. PayPal is good for payment. No trades.
Here are photos I just took of the bass. Let me know if I can provide any other specific photos.
