For sale Evah Pirazzi Weich full set

Hi Bobby, I know you are a “Nashville,” guy and although I am not interested in the EP Weichs at his time, I was hoping to ask your opinion.

I have an opportunity to purchase a Englehardt ES1 made in 2009. The bass has had a great set-up by a friend of mine Robbie McIntosh (mcinbass.com). It in very solid shape and has a hand crafted bridge with wooden adjusters, a recently dressed fingerboard, new tailpiece cable (done by Robbie) and is wearing Helicore medium orchestras.

The neck has been broken at the heel but fixed solidly by another friend of mine “The Luthier,” Mark Leue In Ashbury Mass. I know you can’t see the bass but I could try and send you a pic or two (your email). He’s asking $850. Your thoughts? I would definitely understand if you didn’t want to comment.

I live in Vermont and the bass is probably 1 1/2 hr away.
Can some of the Englehardts be “diamonds in the rough”? Your thoughts?
