Short-Scale 30" Mouse with passive, magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups. No Piezo.
Amazing copper color. Don't know how to describe it.
1 5/8" Nut Width
Ultra-light at 6 pounds.
$1600 shipped to you in CONUS. (final price drop)
($1500 for local pickup in Norwalk, CT.)
TRADE OPTIONS:
1) GUITARS (6 string) from the 70's: Guild Bluesbird? Guild S-100? Gibson SG? Les Paul? Looking for something in player's condition with humbuckers. No strats, but I could be convinced by the right Tele. Looking for a solid-playing 70's guitar with humbuckers. I don't need any more basses. I could add $$$ for the right guitar.
2) Will also trade for a good-quality french bow (plus or minus cash).
3) Fender American Elite Jazz 5
I have an opportunity to do a three-way trade for a french bow with the right Jazz 5, so hit me up if you want to trade your Jazz 5 for my mouse. Natural color preferred, but show me what you've got.

Amazing sounding bass. One of the best Fender-jazz sounding basses I've ever played, and I've owned a bunch. Bridge pickup is nice and burpy, and neck pickup is fatter sounding than most Fenders since it's a short scale. This bass is absolutely killer for recording. SEE VIDEO BELOW. Audio is a bit distorted, but that's just my iPhone distorting. Bass sounds clean as a whistle through DI.
I got this bass in trade here on Talkbass back in 2015.
Controls are simple: one volume, one blend with center detent.
No tone control, but I've never needed one. Tone on this bass is amazing and versatile. Legend has it Rob Allen will add a tone control in the control cavity if you send it back to him.
Comes with Rob Allen gigbag.
note: audio distortion in video is due to my crappy recording technique into iPhone. Bass is crystal clear.
