Pure G&L power, both 81's, built when George did final production inspections, and Leo's lab was about 20 feet away....the Hog n' Slots one, with the correct amplification, will rumble windows six blocks away...used with a single Acoustic 370/ 408 rig, you can demolish small office buildings. With 2 370/408 rigs, you'd be heard on the moon. Of course, you can't do that in California, as you'd disrupt the San Andreas fault....BUY THIS MAN'S BASSES!!!

'81 Hog/RW 2000E, one piece body, nicely broken in but no fretwear (wore flats), pre-CBS feel on the neck, all orig. no issues, ~10.5 lbs - $1,200 + shipping
'81 Alder/Maple 2000E, close to new, surface swirls in the thumb area and the back, ~9 lbs - $1,100 + shipping

They both differ in tone as would be expected with the wood combos but complement each other nicely, warmer tone with the hog but killer slap with maple. Both basses exhibit boutique level playability and attention to detail known to the Leo days of G&L.

Downsizing, so not looking for trades.
