Fretless
  1. Y
Hey everyone. This listing is for my Martin Keith Elfin Plus semi hollow fretless. This one features an African mahogany body with a beautiful walnut top, maple neck, and pau ferro fingerboard. It also has a pair of custom Citron dual coil pickups matched to passive electronics with a Tonestyler control. Currently strung E-C.

It is in excellent condition, with very little evidence of player wear at all. The build quality is impressive, and it sounds dreamy. Comes with the pictured case.

$2200 shipped.

Beautiful bass, man. Couple questions for ya. What is the nut width and what is the spacing at the bridge? Also, while the pics you have are GREAT, I'd love one of the top of the fretboard so I can see how the frets are marked. Is it at every fret or just at 3, 5, etc...? Thanks!

Nut width is 1 7/8ths, with 18mm spacing. There are small fret markers at the position of every fret, and large markers at the 3, 5, etc.

I bet you this screams just like the Veillette's Martin built with Joe. My Paris prototype fretless 6 growls on every note in the first position. Incredible. Best fretless right out of the box I've ever owned (still do). Mine is piezo-only, but there's no telling what this beast could do with those Citron's. You could probably take over a small island nation with this bass...just sayin':D

I have my eye on some small island nations right now.

Hey folks - I remember this bass quite fondly.
Just FYI my log and records show it as 19mm spacing, not 18mm.
There's some adjustment on the Hipshot A-type bridges so it may be set up for 18mm at the moment.
However, it will work at 19mm if adjusted for that.

Cheers,
Martin
