It breaks my heart to say that i must let this bass go. Unfortunately i have been placed in a situation that requires me to sell off most of my gear. This bass is at a reduced price because it doesnt have any pickups or wiring harness and i need to sell it rather quickly . i sold them before i knew i would have to sell the whole bass. Its my beloved Togar Stratus 422. Sapele body with a quilted maple top. 5 piece neck that is maple, purpleheart and wenge. Macassar ebony fingerboard and headstock cap. Abalone headstock inlay. 1/2 inch wide at the nut. 20mm deep at the first fret going up to 21mm around the 7th fret on up. Body is 38mm deep. Compound radius fretboard 12 inch that flattens out to 16 inch radius as you go up the board. Removable 2 way truss rod should anything ever go wrong with it. Gotoh tuners and a allparts bridge. It originally had a hipshot a style and the bridge thats on it now doesnt let the action get too low. So this is your chance to get an incredible one of a kind bass at a fraction of the cost it should be and help out a fellow tber who is down on his luck. Its in very good condition. a couple of very small scratches on the front. Almost like new condition. Price includes shipping to conus and a skb hardshell case. Paypal only I will post better pictures as soon as i can.

Are the first two pics of the actual bass? The third pic is really dark and I can't even see that there is a bass in the case.

They are all pictures of the actual bass. The first two are from the luthier when it was first built. The last one was me last night using my crappy camera on my phone at some wee hour of the morning. It is the same instrument. I'll try to get better pics up soon.

Sorry guys I have been out of town on business. It had EMG 35 shaped Duncan phase 2 pickups in it (1.5x3.5) and a Duncan preamp. It is still available and I will put up more pictures when i am back in town.

The missus was kind enough to take a few pics for me. Honestly I was not trying hard to move it because I was hoping that my situation would change and I wouldn't have to sell it because I really do love this bass. Unfortunately that does not appear to be the case for the foreseeable future so I am forced to part with it. It either this one or my walnut Togar Cumulus which I have had longer than any bass in my life and I really couldn't handle parting with it even though this Stratus plays slightly better and weighs less. This is the bass that Tom Garden built for himself and when I went back to him for another bass he offered it to me. I couldn't resist that quilted maple top. I couldn't really justify owning 2 basses of this caliber then and even less so now. I have to be realistic about my gear needs as opposed to my desires. So I will part with this bass and I have arranged for a suitable, more practical backup bass once this one sells. I hope it goes to someone who will love it as much as I do.

Just to be clear, this bass has no electronics? It's the bass body and neck only without the guts?
