Purchased new in Feb 2019, I have been the only owner of this gorgeous Ric. It is a MID (Midnight Blue) color, which was discontinued at the beginning of the year. You won't find new basses in this color until they decide to start producing them again. It is a great instrument but I am looking to finance something else in the coming year and so I need to liquidate my collection a bit to afford that.

It has a chrome Treble Bezel installed on the neck pickup which I think works great to help anchor the thumb and to fill in the gap around the pickup when the pickup cover is removed. The original pickup cover is included if you prefer to use that. It includes the original Ric hardshell case, all of the case candy, a truss rod tool, plus a "Zero-Mod" Ric thumb rest, which is not currently installed on the bass. As a bonus I will also include a set of TI Flatwounds that were previously on the bass for a while and are cut for a Ric. It is currently set up with original Rickenbacker brand roundwounds.

It weighs in at just over 9 lbs.

It's in near-perfect condition. I have included 2 minor blemishes in the photos. One is on the tip of the headstock... a "brush-stroke" scratch. It does not go deep into the finish and you can't see it from 2 feet away but nonetheless, it is there and I want to disclose that. Second, there is a little nick in the back of the body, which you can see in the other photo. Aside from that, everything is flawless. Anything unusual you see in the pics other than those 2 things are just reflections.

I would prefer to make this a "local pickup only" sale for the time being as I've never shipped a bass before and am a little nervous about it but I could possibly be convinced. :)

I am located in Southern NH, near the MA border.

Please get in touch with any questions. Thanks!!

That's a beaut! :) I wondered if Ric had discontinued the Midnight Blue as they were removed from some of the larger retailers. Bummer its one of my favorite colors and it looks like they got it right this time. Good luck with the sale!
Best wishes,
Brent

I’m fickle. I think I’m not going to sell this now as I think it will leave me with regrets. But who knows!? Maybe it’ll pop up again when I’m more sure of myself. :D
