SSD-era Spector NS5-CR
Nothing wrong with this bass, I just flip flop between 4 and 5 string and I'm GAS'n for a 4 string now.
There are no other marks or scratches on it than the photos from the previous thread, which are a couple of minor dings in the finish in out of the way spots. It's never left my house since I received it. I've not done any modifications other than change the battery twice and the strings once. I played it almost exclusively in my chair in front of my PC plugged into a Line 6 Bass Pod into headphones.
The Delano electronics appear to be professionally installed. There is copper tape in all of the cavities and all of the wiring is clean. The pots are dead quiet, no crackling when turning, they all turn smooth and easy. Blend and all tone controls have center detents. Volume is a push/pull, pull for passive. In passive, blend works but there isn't a passive tone control. One can be ordered from Delano if you have to have that option. Sonus pre is very transparent. With tone flat and volume at 75%, there is no discernible difference between active and passive. Above 75% and the active becomes a bit hotter, same tone just louder. EQ is boost/cut with a micro switch in the cavity to select the mid freq. Further details about the pre and p'ups can be found on the Delano website.
