I bought this new in the late 1990s for rehearsals. It is in excellent shape. It has both the bridge pickup system and the Holosonic (body) pickup. It has passive electronics with a separate input for each pickup (see picture) and a volume control for each pickup. I used a "Y" cable with it and found I like the tone much better directly through a PA versus an amp. It does not have any tone controls (other than blending the 2 PUs) so the amp or PA would have to provide tone control (or a pream). I found I did not need any for Pizz. For arco it is a little too bright for my tastes so some EQ adjustments were needed.
Brand new Helicore Hybrids were just put on it so it is ready to go.
