For sale Bartolini GGM45CX Dual Coil Bass Pickup

Can I ask what basses these came out of? Or at least the GG model as that is not a regular Bartolini code that I can find. Is it an OEM of a particular brand?

pretty sure originally the gg came from a mid-90's modulus q5. i've had a few q5's come and go and i've experimented non-stop on pickup configurations and that pickup has just ended up recently being rotated out. it was last paired with a bart mm5 in a gould ggi5.

the 72 is a favorite of mine (bought a bunch from bbg throughout the years). that also just got rotated out. that was in a gould ggj5.

I was guessing that the GG may have been a Modulus. From trying to identify another proprietary Bart pickup that I purchased used a while ago, I was in email contact back and forth with a Bart rep, and learned how they could pickups made to manufacturers specs.

A point of note, I suspect that the "X" on the end of the GG pickup may be a poorly written "T", as the pickup I was trying to identify had something similar... It was made for an upper level Ibanez and Ibanez wanted "B" and "N" for bridge and neck instead of the typical B and T that Bartolini uses. The "chicken scratch on mine was an Ibanez "B" that looked like something totally different. (I don't have the pickup handy to look at it right now...but I think it visually looked like an "E".)
