This magnificent Fodera Emperor II Elite 5 string in wonderful condition. It does show very few minor "scrapes" or
"light bruises", but they are ALL on or very near the edges and cannot be seen while playing. The "top" and "back" are clean.
Sonically, it is ALL FODERA, all the way-unmistakable. Nothing feels or plays like it. The single cut is VERY comfortable, and of course the balance is just perfect.
The neck is beautifully carved to a slim but not skinny profile, adding to the ease of playbility. You can get the strings as low a you'd like, which is how my basses are set up...UNTIL the very last turn on the bridge saddle, which raises them a tiny bit. I've come to realize that the best tone (for my style) comes from a low but not "on the fret" setting.
