Feeler thread. I am trying to figure out a way to keep this but also trying to be realistic. So up for sale is my very near to perfect 2016 Dingwall Z3. This bass is incredibly versatile. The 4 way rotary switch allows you to switch between neck pick up only (killer Pbass sound) neck and bridge pup (jazz), two rear pickups in series (stingray) and bridge solo'd. All 4 settings are completely usable and all sound great. The pickups are super fattys which are more traditional in tone and less modern than the FD3 pickups and this beast also has a darkglass preamp in it. This is about as good as it gets.
The bass is in near perfect condition. There is one very slight indent on the very top of the headstock that is very minor and almost impossible to see. Other than that the bass is clean. The photos do not do justice to the trans white over ash body. The grain is very clear in person and the finish is a beautiful high gloss.
Price includes shipping in North America in a Dingwall gig bag with the adjustment tools.
Specs
Maple Neck
Wenge Fretboard
Luminlay side markers
Dual Density Swamp ash body
Super Fatty Pickups
Darkglass Preamp
Just under 9 lbs weight.
18mm spacing.
I am really looking for cash as I am only considering selling because I bought a new Warwick dolphin and also have to buy a new car this week. That said I may consider trades that net me at least $1500. So instruments in the 2500-2800 (used not new) price range. The only exception would be for a Dingwall AB1 with a darkglass preamp and a wenge neck. I would still want some cash added but could live with $1000 or so on that trade.
