Warwick 06 Corvette 5 Active $699

For sale only, is my 2006 Corvette 5 string with active MEC gold pickups and 9v preamp. This bass is no case queen and previous owners have added some "mojo", there are a few dings, dents and scratches but nothing affecting the playability or sound. I have tried to show these in the pics but I think the bass looks pretty good and is very presentable. The woods in this bass are very nice, three piece Ovankol laminated bolt on neck, Wenge fretboard, and Ash body finished in nirvana black oil stain. This package comes in at 9.2 lbs on my luggage scale and the balance is good. The neck is 34" scale and the neck is set very flat with about 1.5mm action on the G, D, and A. The two piece bridge is infinitely adjustable and spacing from 16.5mm to 17.5mm is possible. While this bass started out as a passive "standard" model it has been upgraded to MEC electronics and active pickups, controls are volume, blend, bass and treble. And yes, this bass does have the Warwick growl, does it come from the wood or electronics?, I don't know but it sounds great.
