I bought this brand new just a few months ago and am ONLY selling it cuz I’m having another one custom made. I also had an expensive pearl white PLUS “aged” white custom pickguards made so you get 3 pickguards with this bass easily changing the look in just minutes. The bass is in MINT condition, basically new and also has strap locks. The action is low and clean. The back of the neck feels really good with a smooth satin finish and these are rarely the same color as the body. The Delano pickups are REALLY impressive in that you can easily get a VERY CLEAN precision OR Musicman sound. The matte finish is extra nice cuz it doesn't show up spots or fingerprints at all. The inlays are just stickers and can be easily removed but you wnt want to. They look VERY real even from 4 feet away. I have never had a musician know they were stickers. Absolutely NO dings, scratches or dents. AT ALL! Its in mint outstanding condition since it is only a few months old. On ebay I have over 800 positive reviews. You wont be let down with this beauty.

Body is highly figured swamp ash with heavy grain
Neck is hard rock maple with matching headstock
Fingerboard is katalox, with 21 frets 34 inch scale
Nut width is 45mm
Pickups: Delano MC 5 FE humbucker + PMVC 5 FE/M2 split coil
Electronics are passive - volume, volume, tone
Finish is 2 tone sun burst body and neck both matte
Hardware is chrome with 17 mm string spacing at the bridge

My scale says 8.9 pounds which is really light for a 5 string
Comes with Maruszczyk well padded Gigbag

Tone is hard to describe but I have been told by sound men that the low B is solid and tight. (although I think most sound guys dont want you to peddle the low B and only sustain it with whole notes) bright or dark would probably depend on how new and/or thick the strings are and more so where you are placing your right hand and how hard you hit the string IMO. Hope that answers you. With the pickups and HUGE magnets you can pretty much get any tone you want and they are very responsive tonally. Thanks for checking in.

I'm a low tech 59 year old. Have no idea how to do that. quit laughing LOL. That being said these pickups are so responsive you can easily get any tone you want depending where you place your right hand and how hard you pluck. Hope that helps. I have had at least 100 basses over the last 40 years and this is up there tonally. Highly responsive with huge magnets giving responsive sonic tones.

Yes the humbucker becomes a single coil. Yes Delano would be a very good description. But I would also say they sound similar to my other bass with Aguilar pups. Tone is subjective but I hope that helps.PM me if you are interested.
