Listing my Classic Stingray 5 for sale or trade (trade options below). It’s a great bass for sure, but I seem to only reach for my ‘88 Stingray 5 on the rare occasion that I need a five string.
Ice blue with tort guard, beautiful flames maple neck. Plays and sounds great, no issues. Cosmetic condition is excellent *except* for one hunk of finish missing on the back (pics below). Currently strung with old rounds - still plenty of bite to them with the preamp though.
Weight is on the heavy side at 10 lbs 12.9 oz on my postal scale.
Price is $1,200 OBO shipped in a decent gig bag, or add $50 for the OHSC. Mainly looking for a sale (local in northern NJ would be rad), but open to trades. Would love to swap for a Noble pre or even a Walkabout combo (with a little cash coming my way) but will throw the doors wide open for offers. Preference generally given to a local deal.
