1972 sunburst / mOP fender mustang bass in mojo condition. Some aesthetic issues but plays great!
The only non-original part is the saddles. When I bought it, the original saddles were gone and it had replacement p bass saddles that didn't fit correctly as they were too wide. I looked everywhere for a 70s set of saddles or for some JMJ or RI saddles, all to no avail. I ended up buying a 5 string fender style bridge with the correct saddle width! Fits right and looks correct.
The MOP pickguard has shrunken, causing some cracks and some knuckle head drilled a shallow circle into the back of the body.... for? No clue! Maybe a ZZ Top style swivel?
edit: I forgot the string ferrules on the back of the body appear unoriginal - They stick out a bit. I believe the originals would've been flush fitted but I may be wrong about that?
Pickups sound great, frets in good condition. Sorry, no OHC. Loaded with chromes.
Not sure how to price it, so obo shipped conus
