Up for trade is my Modulus Quantum 6. Most know I’m not a 6 string player, but the string spacing on these makes them deadly comfortable to play!
This bass features an alder body with an exhibition grade 5A quilt maple top that is impressive in person. It has the custom Modulus spec’d Bartolini pickup and electronics package, 35 inch scale and 17mm spacing. This is the key here, 17mm spacing and the neck is designed with this bridge spacing too. It measures 2 and 3/4” at the 12th fret and the bridge, not 3 and a 1/4” like many 19mm spaced 6s are. This was my problem with playing 6 all along was the massive neck width. My 5s with 19mm spacing have the same neck width at the 12th fret as this bass
It is in excellent overall condition.
Frets are great, neck is amazing, truss rod works, and electronics work great! Ships in a non original hard shell case.
As for trades, I'm after a bunch of great brands such as Alleva Coppolo, Wal, Carl Thompson, Fodera, F-Bass, MTD, Sadowsky, Spector, Fender, Musicman, many others etc. Interested in 4, 5, or 6 strings. Fretted or Fretless. Scale from 32" to 38". Try me with what you've got but be sure to send me pictures and specs. I will look at a bass plus cash and and possibly a bass plus gear. Bergantino gear is at top of my list, especially the B-Amp, Forte, and NV series cabinets. Again, try me with what you have. You never know!
