Details

I got this bow about 1990 with a 5-string upright for orchestra use. It is stamped “G. Werner.”

It appears to be Pernambuco; I see no signs of an applied stain. It has an ebony frog, most likely a nickel-silver mount and screw (is a bit shiny), mother of pearl button and at the heel, leather grip (perhaps alligator, based on grain), and a “tinsel” wrap. It is a half heel, fully lined, round stick, 28 3/8“ length and weighs 143g haired.

No case.

No returns accepted; sold as-is. Price includes US postal ground to CONUS. Will ship it faster or carrier rate at your cost. Or you can come to the studio to play and pay and take it then.

I've got nothing that documents provenance. Web research on that stamp shows it is likely from the Doerfler Shop, near Bubenreuth in Germany. I play classical and jazz and currently have 4 bows and have probably played 15-20 at any of the bass conventions, and did a bit of research to understand its construction. That is why I rate this subjectively as a decent bow for an advanced music student or orchestra/jazz adult player.
