I was asked how to use this with a DAW:

Plug your source into either "instrument input(1/4")/mic in(XLR)" and then take a 1/4" cable and plug it in as output. The other end of that same output cable connects to your audio interface input with either 1/4" or XLR end. The audio interface is what connects to your computer via USB/FireWire. Check the levels in your DAW and you're ready to go.
