Lakland Jazz Joe Osborn 55-60 2011

Selling my Jazz fiver.

I purchased this bass in 2014 from the original owner, a fellow tb'er. Who purchased it in 2011, new! It features Lakland's Hanson single coil pickups.

I upgraded the tone control with a '62 style concentric tone stack. Yes, that means you can roll back the tone for each pickup independently. I'm including the original tone controls and plate.

Fender control plate with srews - one side clean chrome, other part vintage style relic
Fender concentric potentiometers 250k/500k
Switchcraft jack
THE best red Paper in oil K40Y-9V capacitors (0.1uF Neck for deeper bass, 0.033uF Bridge for enhancing that midrangey growl)
AllParts US knobs
Fender detent plates underneath to keep the tone in place

This bass sings!! I've included a couple of recordings I've done with it below.

I've played this bass a bunch but there's no dings or cracks since I baby'ed it.

I've included a picture of the bolts on the back of the bass, if you look at the middle one you can see a little break in the finish. It is only superficial and not all the way through.

The pickguard along the upper horn has warped out a little. I like it, it keeps my picks warm.
