This is an Ibanez hollow-body five string bass in new condition for $450 plus shipping! I put very expensive Tomastik Infeld Acousticore strings on it and the sound is very reminiscent of the Turner Renaissance bass, but IMO with better control over string-to-string balance. It sounds fantastic as set up, but I'll also include the original strings. Here's what it's got:

  • 5-string hollow mahogany body bass guitar that achieves the ideal combination of elegance and performance
  • SRH5 5-piece jatoba/bubinga neck plays fast, with a multi-layer design for maximum rigidity and long-term reliability
  • Enhanced stability and sustain thanks to custom bridge
  • AeroSilk Piezo system yields an upright double bass sound and unbelievable touch response
  • Comfortable Panga Panga fingerboard
  • Stylish black matte hardware

Have a bump on me.

I have one of these, wonderful bass, it's a semi-hollow hidden gem.

I put TI Flats on mine. What are those strings like, comparing to the Flats?

Anyway, great bass, and they made just a few!

On my digital bathroom scale, using the “with-bass / without-bass technique,” it’s about 6.4 lbs. The bass seems to balance nicely. That’s probably because of the long upper horn and the small headstock.

I didn't respond to your question. The TI Acousticore strings give the bass the sound of an upright bass played pizzicato. These are the same strings that Rick Turner uses on his Renaissance basses. I had one of his Ren 5's with the 1st generation piezo bridge. I wasn't able to get the B volume to balance with the rest of the strings. The SRH505 has individual gain adjustment for each string, so getting the output to properly balance is pretty easy.
