Strings: Jargar (lower prices)

Just sold a bass and am cleaning out the drawers to cover the cost of the new bass.

These represent most of the string journey I had with that bass.

These were all used on a 3/4 bass that had a 41" string length but will fit a standard 3/4 bass.

Assumed to be Jargar Medium Orchestral strings $40 -

These were on the bass when I bought it. They were believed to be Jargars.
The orchestral folks may like them more than I do.

Set of Oliv strings $260 - SOLD

These were collected individually and are in mixed condition. The G has the most use while the E is still fresh and unused. I spent maybe half a year experimenting with Oliv strings. I liked the G very much and used it over lots of other string sets and so it has the most wear. The E and A strings are knotted at the end, the D and G have ball end.
The G was used for maybe a year.
D was used for about a month. Maybe more
The A string was not used very long
The E is new and was never mounted.

Genssler Sonores AP 2016 $200 - SOLD

These are great strings. They've had about a year of use. They make my finger tips black but its so worth it. They feel and sound great. I took them off when I got my hands on a set of AP 2018 strings. They are a little darker than the AP 2018 strings that replaced them.
The G string shows a stretch in the wrap over the bridged (see last photo)

Velvet Anima strings $100 - SOLD

These are in good shape. They were used for about a year. I had an Oliv G on for much of that time so the G hasn't had as much mileage.
