A little fret/fretboard cleaning. I wouldn't sell you as nasty bass.

Also, adding 2 specific trade interests. A Warwick Corvette $$ 4 string (prefer mid 2000's) or a Rickenbacker 4003/S - and fretless versions of either of these are more than welcome.

Price drop. I need to sell this one before I get attached and keep yet another bass I don't actually need. I know that sounds stupid, but it's really true.

this is a light scratch on the lower bout towards the back but it doesn't want to show up in a photo.

I saw your post on Craigslist and then googled the bass and found your post here... Remembered I had an account and haven't been on in a very long time!

I was going to potentially offer a Warwick Rockbass as a small trade + mostly cash, but upon inspecting it last night for a serial number to be able to provide you information, I have found that there isn't one stamped anywhere and that it may be a counterfeit??

can you post a pic(or 2 or more)? The older style rockbasses with one piece bridges sometimes had a serial number printed on a sticker that would over time come off or possible get removed. I don't really need a rockbass at the moment as I'm swimming in Warwick's but I'd be happy to take a look. I doubt it's counterfeit but it never hurts to check.

I would be happy to this evening when I get home. I work in Leander and am temporarily living in Buda, so a large part of my would-be free time is taken up by commute.

I can tell you that it is (allegedly) an active 4 string with a dark sunburst finish. The things that are throwing me off are a one-piece truss rod cover (not "quick access"), no just-a-nut, and an electronics/battery cover that is held in by screws instead of the clip-in.

interesting, though newer rockbasses all have the modern warwick parts older ones do not. It's possible yours is an early enough model that all that is original to the bass.

Definitely not perfect. Some blemishes here and there. I believe she came missing the couple screws and it never bothered me enough to find replacements.
