Details

This is a Fender Elite Jazz Bass. I bought this a few years ago but have not taken out of the house for gigging. It is a beautiful bass no dings are marks. The pickups are the original Fender noiseless pickups although the pickup covers have been sanded down. The bass will be shipped in the original Fender hardshell case. Asking $1300 for this bass.

Hi,
Can you explain what you mean by the pickup covers being sanded down? What is the purpose? In the photos they look normal. Sorry for the ignorant q:Duestion.

Sorry guys, yes, the word "noiseless" was sanded off of the pickup covers. I bought the bass this way, not sure why the previous owner did this. I assume to get rid of the glossy finish...I don't know.

The neck has not been sanded.

THX! Is it possible they are pickup replacements, or can you see they were sanded?

Nah, you can see where they were sanded. I tried to pick that up on the photos but you can see with the naked eyes.
