Selling a Fender Roscoe Beck IV Signature bass. As you TBers may know, these are out of production and very rare, especially the 4-string model. They are known for being high quality, on par with the Custom Shop models. And the RBIV is unique because it has a wide variety of tones, but is 100% passive. Don't need to say much more about that. These are rarer than hen's teeth, and there are people who know about these and want one, and other people who don't know and/or don't care. 
I found this used online from a Guitar Center in New Jersey. I paid $1595 and want to get close to that amount back. I know these are rare and desirable, based on my long attempt to find one for sale. This bass is awesome, but now I have my eye on something else I am trying to fund.
Good condition, a few small dings/nicks/gouges on the side of the neck, fine scratches in the clearcoat. Not mint, but definitely decent condition for its age. Overall vibe is "shiny". Setup is decent (especially given its GC history). Drop-D needs to be adjusted, otherwise no issues. Don't know exact weight, but it feels light for an RBIV. I would be surprised if it is over 9lbs.
Looking for 1500 + actual shipping. Usually I have a bad habit of buying high and selling low, but I am going to try for my price on this one, given its scarcity.
