Amazing bass in excellent condition! I acquired it in a trade, and realized I'm just not much of a passive bass guy.

This bass is an excellent player with a very balanced, super smooth, thin, and comfortable neck. Fast low action! Neck is straight and truss rod works perfectly!The Chi-Sonic Pickups sound super fat and articulate! In my opinion they nail a spot on P-bass sound in the neck position and a vintage to modern Marcus Miller dynamic jazz bass tone in the middle position with the volume for the neck pickup slightly back off. I definitely am an active bass guy, but I can say for a passive bass... this bass has options and versatility with the stacked volume and tone knobs!

Original owner ordered bass new from Lakland in December 2017. Bass was received in April 2018. It was initially a USA 44-60, and due to a finish flaw on the first body, Lakland replaced the body. During that time, Lakland also upgraded the bass model to a J-Sonic. Previous owner requested Lakland to put black Chi-Sonic covers over the Chi-Sonic pickups to match the rest of the black hardware on the bass.
