I'm selling my Clement #366 Anne 5-string fretless. There have been a few owners ahead of me, and you can see the thread where I purchased it in early 2019 here: SOLD - Clement Fretless 5
It's a beautiful bass and the only reason I'm selling it is because I play my similarly styled Veillette more. If I didn't own the Veillette, I wouldn't be selling this. If you're after the "I love double bass but don't want to haul it around and my regular fretless isn't cutting it" sound, this is it. I'm asking $1400 shipped in the CONUS.

- Heavily chambered mahogany body
- Flame maple top, the pictures don't do it justice
- Lightweight mahogany neck
- Birdseye maple fingerboard; per Tom it just has poly on it, not an epoxy coating
- Hipshot tuners
- Luminlay glow in the dark side dots at the "fret positions" and on the knobs
- Nordstrand 51 P 5s A3 pickup under a birdseye maple pickup cover
- Hipshot bridge with Graphtech Ghost piezo elements
- Magnetic pickup volume, magnetic pickup tone, piezo volume (neck to bridge order)
- The piezo volume knob is push/pull with one setting being brighter than the other
- The mini toggle switches between piezo only, both piezo and magnetic pickup, and magnetic pickup only
It's currently strung with LaBella Copper White Nylon Tape Wounds (760C-B) because I wanted to try something different vs. the more typical black tapes (760N) that I've been used to and have on the Veillette. I'll also include the black tapes that it came with.
It has two small dents in the neck from an obnoxious person at a gig that knocked over a bunch of our equipment. They are kind of bizarre in placement and I still don't understand how it happened, but I'm thankful it wasn't worse or on the front of the bass. They seem to be superficial and haven't prevented me from playing it.
