Czech Republic made bass that sounds awesome. This one has the more rare and desirable maple fretboard. Most of the ones lately on here have the Wenge fretboard. I have a Beast 5 and bought this to see if I would like it better but I like them equally as well so since I already have a five string with a maple fretboard I decided to let this one go.
The previous owner put a slap guard on the bass but other than that it is original with original Bartolini pick ups and Michael Tobias designed Bartolini preamp with mid contour 3 way switch.
These have the real Flamed Maple top and not a veneer like the newer ones made in China.
