These are the basses that Lakland's reputation was built upon. This is the best early Lakland that I have had the pleasure to play. Extreme versatility of sound from fat punchy fingerstyle and slap tones to tight bridge pickup tone that cuts through the mix. This bass was babied before I bought it and has been in its case for the last 3 years. I'm playing upright exclusively these days otherwise I would hang on to this beauty.
