1991 Golden Era Warwick Streamer Stage 1 for sale. Neck through. Comes with Warwick flight case. It currently has Bartolini pickups and an Aguilar OBP3 installed for electronics. I have the original MEC pickups and preamp, those electronics will also come with it. When I puchased the bass the previous owner said that the MEC preamp was distorted. I purchased another 1991 MEC preamp and had it in there for a while. Both MEC preamps will come with the bass. The previous owner thought the original preamp just had a grounding issue. Since I found a replacement online, I never messed with it, just put the correctly functioning one in there.
The bass plays ridiculously well. It has supremely low action and is very comfortable. 24 frets, it also has the original just a nut system where each string can be adjusted in height individually. Strap locks are recessed. It has normal patina and fading on the hardware, as any bass this old will. It will come with the Warwick beeswax, and I will apply a coat before shipping, just to keep the wood hydrated.
There is one blemish near the blend pot. It looks like grease or something from that pot had leaked into the wood causing some discoloration - see pictures. It never really bothered me, but wanted to make a note of it for the next buyer.
