Looked for one of these for a long time, finally found one. Problem is I have 12 basses and want to put some $$ into my Harley. So I need to sell a few off. Plays and sounds great as you would expect from an American Standard jazz bass of this era. Bass is stock other than a pearloid pickguard, Drop D tuner, and ernie ball straplocks. Came to me with one of the new Fender hardshell cases. Bass electronics are stock. The CS 60 pickups sound great and the high mass bridge is great also. Nothing to upgrade here. Back of the neck has a nice satin finish. Neck plate says made in Corona CA, but I promise, no Corona virus comes with it. Case candy is included.

PM me with questions. Price is $950 paypal'ed and shipped in the domestic US.

Somebody should jump on this thing fast! I had an MIA Precision in this color. This color is amazing, pictures do not do it justice. Looks green in some lights, gray on others, maybe brownish in others. Nicest Fender color ever! (IMO :D) Also, this is one of the post-2008 models with the lighter nitro-type finish, high-mass bridge, and lightweight tuners. Fender got it right (and I am a boutique snob). I have too many basses, and not enough money or talent :p. Otherwise I would jump on it.

How does it balance? Is there any neck dive at all? Are there any marks or fret wear? Have you ever used steel strings with this? Are you the original owner?

Sorry for the 20 questions :D

The bass balances fine. I have never had any neck dive with it.

I use Ernie Ball Slinkys on it, but since I'm not the original owner I can't say what it had prior to me. There are really no marks on it. I see a tiny bump on the headstock next to the e string tuner, but I don't know if it will photograph. I'll try to take a picture and post it. Other than that it looks pretty much new.

Frets have a very small marks from playing, but they have over 95% of life left in them.

Thank you! Is everything on this original other than the drop tuner? Is there the original paperwork with the case as well?
