I happen to have a Fender mim P neck with tuners and hip shot drop D on it already that I have on a PJ I put together but haven’t been using much because I’ve gotten really used to my main bass which is a J. Kinda the opposite situation as you...let me know if that interests you. It’s in perfect condition and looks new, (pau ferro). I can post or pm a pic if you want.

Thanks, but I'm really just looking for a Warmoth roasted maple neck.

So funny. I was going to make the opposite post. LOL. (Ignore my signature!)
I have a Roasted Maple Warmoth Neck with a Roasted Maple board, so I guess that's not exactly what you are looking for. (?)

*I removed the pic because it felt like I was hijacking your thread...

Is yours a Jazz neck or a Precision neck? I don't usually go for maple boards, but I might consider one if the test of the neck specs are cool...

It's a P, Purchased from the showcase in October.
SS6150 frets(stainless), Black side dots, black face dots (those are easily removable Jocomo decals in the picture). Steel rods, 1 11/16" nut, white TUSQ XL nut

Presently has that hipshot string retainer, and Gotoh Tuners (not res-o-lites, I couldn't find any) 17.5 ream.
I used to think I prefered Precision necks too, but I have not bonded with this yet in 4 months, it's why I was looking to switch for a J.

Mine has the Hipshot string retainer and licensed shiny chrome Hipshot Ultralites, 6150 frets (not stainless), and regular steel reinforcement. Finished with Tung Oil, and Warmoth decal (obviously).

I'm kinda thinking I might like to have a slim profile neck, but I've never tried one.

I’m afraid I don’t know, since 1) it’s still attached to the bass right now, and 2) all I have is a bathroom scale, which is not going to be great at measuring small weights under 5 lb.

Like most steel-reinforced Warmoth necks, it’s not especially light.
